Overview
We are looking for a dependable and proactive SEO Specialist to support ongoing search visibility, website optimization, and local SEO efforts for a growing home service business.
This role focuses on improving organic search performance, supporting website optimization initiatives, monitoring SEO health, and helping drive qualified inbound leads through strategic search visibility improvements.
The ideal candidate understands both the technical and content side of SEO and can work collaboratively with marketing, web, and content teams.
Scope of Work
Local SEO
- Support local SEO initiatives for service-area visibility
- Assist with:
- Google Business Profile optimization
- citation management
- local keyword targeting
- location-based SEO improvements
- Monitor rankings and local search performance
On-Page SEO
- Optimize:
- service pages
- blogs
- landing pages
- metadata
- headings and content structure
- Conduct keyword research and content recommendations
- Ensure SEO best practices are implemented across website content
Website & Technical SEO Support
- Monitor overall website SEO health
- Identify and report:
- broken links
- indexing issues
- crawl errors
- speed/performance concerns
- mobile usability issues
- Coordinate with web development and content teams for implementation support
SEO Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on:
- keyword rankings
- website traffic
- organic performance
- local visibility
- lead-related SEO metrics
- Provide recommendations for ongoing SEO improvements
Requirements
- Proven SEO experience
- Understanding of:
- local SEO
- on-page SEO
- technical SEO fundamentals
- keyword research
- search engine best practices
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as:
- Ahrefs
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and web teams
Meetings & Availability
- Must be available to attend scheduled client and internal meetings
- Meetings are typically scheduled during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
- Expected availability window is between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST
- Must maintain clear and timely communication during collaboration and meeting hours
Allocation
- Part-time/ remote (40 hours per month)
- Flexible monthly allocation based on campaign and operational needs
