SEO Support Specialist - EComm Performance Marketing Agency
SEO Support Specialist
Omnia 1 Analytics is an analytics-first marketing agency. We believe strong SEO and performance marketing outcomes start with a real understanding of the data. We help eCommerce entrepreneurs and teams navigate that complexity with curiosity, an open mind, and analytical creativity. Our clients include global celebrity and fashion brands, food companies, and climate-focused organizations. We care deeply about learning and growing as a team, and you’ll have access to the best enterprise-level tools and resources to master SEO.
We're hiring an SEO Support Specialist to work directly under our SEO Account Manager and help drive SEO outcomes across our eCommerce client portfolio.
Why This Role Is Unique
- Learn from senior SEO leadership. You'll work side-by-side with an experienced SEO Account Manager who will mentor you on client strategy, technical SEO, and how to build a scalable SEO program from the inside out.
- Real eCommerce exposure. You'll get hands-on with Shopify and WordPress brands across multiple verticals, with visibility into how SEO connects to paid media, lifecycle, and creative.
- Front-row seat to AI search. AEO and GEO are reshaping how customers discover brands. You'll work on real client problems at the front edge of this shift, not theoretical ones.
What You'll Do
- Partner with our Senior SEO Account Manager to execute on client SEO strategies such as keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits, content briefs, and reporting.
- Lead deep keyword research for eCommerce clients, including category, product, and informational keyword mapping. Sift through the noise and identify keywords that drive actual revenue, not just traffic.
- Build and refine AI/AEO/GEO strategies for clients optimizing for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative search surfaces. Track citations, monitor brand mentions in LLM responses, and recommend content adjustments.
- Conduct monthly technical site audits and document recommendations in a clean, organized format the SEO Account Manager and client can act on.
- Pull and analyze data from SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Looker Studio. Not only pull the data but you will also help analyze and pull actionable insights.
- Help build monthly client reports and decks that show SEO performance trends and clearly articulate next steps.
- Support new business audits to identify high-growth SEO opportunities for prospective clients.
- Stay current on SEO, AI search, and eCommerce trends. Bring new ideas to the team.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of eCommerce SEO experience at an agency or in-house, working on Shopify or WordPress brands. You understand how SEO drives revenue for a product catalog, not just a blog.
- Expert-level keyword research skills. You can build a keyword strategy from scratch with minimal guidance. You understand when to go broad or narrow and you know the optimal thresholds to determine what a good vs bad keyword are (volume, keyword difficulty, SERP landscape etc.). You know the difference between a keyword that ranks and a keyword that ranks and converts.
- Strong AI/AEO/GEO experience in eCommerce. You've worked on optimizing brand and product content for AI search surfaces (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). You understand structured data, entity optimization, and how LLMs surface and cite content. You can speak to what's working now and what's changing.
- Comfortable with SEO tooling. SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Looker Studio, and Google Sheets. Bonus points for experience with AI search tracking tools (Profound, Athena HQ, Peec AI, or similar) but ideally you have extensive experience using LLMs like Claude/ChatGPT to help enhance your SEO work.
- Detail-oriented and self-directed. You take pride in clean, organized work and you rarely make mistakes twice. You move things forward without needing to be asked twice.
- Clear communicator. You're not afraid to reach out if you run into roadblocks or if you need help. We deeply value proactive communication and the more communication the better while still being able to lead your own work autonomously. We are fully remote so expert communication via Slack is ideal.
- Data-driven. You make recommendations backed by what the data is showing, not gut feel alone.
- Eager to learn. You're curious, ask good questions, and want to grow into a senior SEO role over the next few years.
