Social Media Content Creator

We are looking for a creative, energetic and highly motivated Social Media Content Creator to join our growing team and manage content creation across three exciting brands: Retail Box, Style Bar and CaribbeanTan.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beauty, social media trends, content creation and working with people. The successful candidate must be confident on camera, outgoing, organised and able to create engaging content that connects with our audiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content for:
• Retail Box
• Style Bar
• CaribbeanTan
• Plan, film and edit:
• Reels
• TikToks
• Instagram stories
• Carousel posts
• Behind-the-scenes content
• Promotional campaigns
• Product and salon content
• Manage day-to-day social media activity across all platforms
• Work closely with salon teams, suppliers, influencers and management to create fresh and relevant content
• Stay up to date with social media trends, trending audio, platform updates and viral content styles
• Assist with influencer collaborations and campaign coordination
• Attend launches, activations, promotions and events to capture content
• Ensure all content aligns with each brand’s tone, aesthetic and marketing strategy
• Assist with community engagement, including replying to comments, messages and interacting with followers when required
• Coordinate and organise content shoots and content calendars

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Confident filming and editing content on mobile devices
• Experience using editing apps such as CapCut, Canva, InShot or similar
• Creative eye for aesthetics, branding and storytelling
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Outgoing personality and comfortable working with staff, clients and influencers
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple brands at once
• Highly organised and able to meet deadlines

Office hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
