Position Overview
The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across the company's social media platforms. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, promoting tutoring services, showcasing student success stories, and driving audience engagement.
Must be comfortable in-front of the camera- to advertise our content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and publish engaging content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant channels.
- Record yourself infront of the camera to promote the company.
- Design graphics, videos, reels, and promotional materials aligned with the company's branding.
- Develop content calendars and schedule posts in advance.
- Capture and edit photos and videos of tutoring sessions, educational events, and company activities.
- Research current social media trends and implement creative content ideas.
- Write compelling captions, advertisements, and promotional content.
- Monitor engagement metrics and provide regular performance reports.
- Respond to comments, messages, and enquiries in a professional manner where required.
- Collaborate with management to promote new programmes, enrolment periods, workshops, and student achievements.
- Ensure all content complies with company policies and child safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating short-form video content and graphics.
- Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Experience working within education, tutoring, or youth-focused organisations.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
