The Opportunity We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media & Content Specialist to join our marketing team, reporting directly to the Creative Marketing and Strategy Manager.This role is heavily focused on owning our social media presence, content creation, and digital storytelling across a growing portfolio of properties. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, building brand visibility online, and driving audience engagement, while also supporting broader marketing initiatives.This is a hands-on, content-first role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera, and wants to take ownership of how our brand shows up across digital platforms. What You’ll Be Doing: Social Media and Content Creation
Own and manage a comprehensive content calendar across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Plan and execute engaging, high-quality content including posts, reels, stories, and short-form video to maintain a strong and consistent brand presence
Capture and produce photo and video content at properties, events, open houses, and community activations
Act as an on-camera brand ambassador, creating engaging walkthroughs, lifestyle content, and storytelling videos
Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to continuously evolve content strategy
Actively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions to build brand loyalty and awareness
Develop creative ideas to grow reach, engagement, and follower base across channels
Graphic Design and Visual Asset Production
Create and adapt visual content using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
Edit video content using platforms like CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar tools
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency across platforms
Prepare content assets for social, email, ads, and digital campaigns
Digital Marketing & Campaign Support
Support the execution of marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels
Monitor performance of Google Ads and Meta campaigns, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Assist with campaign launches, promotions, and leasing marketing initiatives
Compile campaign performance reports and provide insights to support optimization
Coordination and Collaboration
Act as the day-to-day point of contact for third-party vendors, managing deliverables, timelines, and quality to ensure alignment with brand standards and marketing strategy.
Coordinate closely with the leasing and property management teams on time-sensitive updates, availability changes, promotional campaigns, and event needs.
Identify and fill content and execution gaps across internal and external workflows to keep projects moving without bottlenecks.
Email and Platform Management
Assemble and build monthly newsletters and email campaigns in Mailchimp based on content briefs and creative direction.
Manage and update rental listings on third party listing platforms, including regular reposting for visibility.
Maintain and update Google Business Profiles across all properties, including weekly posts, photo uploads, and review response support.
Perform regular updates to website content to keep property information current and compelling for prospective residents.
Event Content & Brand Activation
Coordinate marketing materials, communications, and promotional efforts for open houses, community events, and property launches.
Capture and produce content before, during, and after events for social media and marketing use.
Analytics and Reporting
Track and analyze key social media and content performance metrics
Provide insights to improve engagement, reach, and campaign effectiveness
Support reporting across digital, social, and email channels
What You Bring:
2-3+ years of marketing experience, ideally in real estate, property management or related industries.
A natural storyteller with genuine passion for social media, content creation, and building a brand's digital presence.
Proficient in graphic design tools such as Figma, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Experienced with video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Rush, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
An excellent writer and communicator who can craft clear, engaging copy.
Comfortable and confident being a brand ambassador, both behind and in front of the camera.
Familiar with AI-powered content creation and generation tools.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Self-directed and able to execute independently once given direction.
Nice to Have:
Background in photography or videography beyond smartphone content.
Experience working in a multi-property or multi-brand marketing environment.
Basic understanding of HTML & CSS is an asset.
Portfolio or samples demonstrating content creation across multiple channels.
