Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids, also known as FL4K, is an education technology company that helps schools, districts, teachers, students, families, homeschool programs, charter schools, private schools, and enrichment programs make Spanish language learning more engaging and accessible.
Our Spanish curriculum includes video-based lessons, interactive games and activities, cultural learning, teacher resources, classroom activities, assessments, and flexible programs for school, home, and facilitator-led use. FL4K supports speaking, listening, reading, and writing for elementary and middle school learners.
About the Role
FL4K is looking for a creative, organized, and highly proactive Social Media Manager / Content Creator to manage and grow our presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This is an all-encompassing social media role that includes content creation, short-form video, social media engagement, trend research, campaign development, and ad creative.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands how social platforms work, knows how to create content that gets attention, and can adapt messaging for different audiences. FL4K works with a broad education audience, including school districts, charter schools, private schools, homeschool families, co-ops, enrichment programs, teachers, parents, and students. This role requires someone who can create both fun, engaging social content and more professional content for education decision-makers.
What You’ll Do
As Social Media Manager, you will create and manage content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This includes short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, graphics, captions, posts, carousels, stories, promotional content, educational content, and ad creative.
You will be responsible for identifying trends, adapting relevant trends to FL4K’s brand, and coming up with creative campaign ideas that help build awareness, engagement, and leads. You will also help create LinkedIn advertisements, Facebook ad content, TikTok content, Instagram content, and professional B2B social content aimed at schools and education decision-makers.
This role also includes active social media engagement, such as posting consistently, commenting, replying to relevant conversations, interacting with followers, and helping FL4K build a more active online presence. You should be comfortable both creating content and managing the day-to-day activity that helps a brand grow.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and LinkedIn; developing graphics, carousels, captions, and social posts; engaging with relevant trends and adapting them to FL4K’s audience; managing posting and basic social media engagement; commenting, replying, and interacting with relevant accounts; creating LinkedIn advertisements and professional social content for school and district audiences; creating Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn content; helping develop creative campaign ideas; supporting lead-generation and brand-awareness campaigns; repurposing content across platforms; organizing content calendars and assets; and collaborating with the team on messaging, revisions, and campaign direction.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is creative, reliable, and able to take ownership of social media content from idea to execution. The right person should understand short-form video, social media trends, hooks, captions, basic design, engagement, and platform-specific content strategy.
You should be comfortable creating content for different audiences. Some content may be parent-facing or homeschool-focused, while other content may be more professional and directed toward school districts, administrators, teachers, or charter/private school leaders. You should be able to shift tone depending on the audience and platform.
Strong candidates will have experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, short-form video editing, social media engagement, content calendars, Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and basic ad creative. Experience creating content for education, children’s products, SaaS, EdTech, language learning, or mission-driven brands is a plus.
Requirements
Candidates should have prior experience creating social media, marketing, or digital content. Strong written English, creativity, attention to detail, and reliability are required. Candidates should be comfortable working remotely, meeting deadlines, receiving feedback, and creating consistent content across multiple platforms.
A portfolio, sample posts, social media pages, videos, graphics, ads, or examples of previous work are strongly preferred. Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads, or social media scheduling tools is helpful.

Success in this role means FL4K has a consistent, professional, and engaging social media presence across major platforms. The person in this role should be able to create content that looks good, communicates clearly, follows trends when appropriate, supports campaign goals, and helps FL4K reach schools, districts, teachers, parents, homeschoolers, and education communities.
A successful Social Media Manager will bring creative ideas, execute consistently, engage with audiences, improve content over time, and help turn FL4K’s mission and product benefits into content that people want to watch, read, share, and respond to.
