Social Media Manager
Job Summary
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing Streetlight Philippines, Inc.’s social media strategy to increase visibility, create a strong online community of streetlight supporters, strengthen donor engagement, and effectively communicate the organization’s impact. This role plays a key part in storytelling, branding, and building relationships with supporters, partners, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain all official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, X, etc.)
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish regular content aligned with the organization’s activities
- Monitor engagement, messages, and comments in a timely and professional manner
- Respond to all messages within 24h
- Report monthly on SoMe insights to the department head.
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Create engaging content including photos, videos, captions, and graphics
- Document programs, events, and community impact stories
- Ensure all content reflects Streetlight’s mission, values, and brand identity
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance (reach, engagement, growth)
- Prepare monthly reports and insights to improve strategy
- Recommend data-driven improvements
Support to Partner Relations
- Assist in creating content for donors, partners, and grant reports
- Support campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and awareness drives
Branding & Visibility
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity
- Contribute to strengthening Streetlight’s online presence and reputation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing
- Strong writing and storytelling skills in English
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools)
- Familiar with AI marketing tools
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools
- Passion for nonprofit work and community development

Working Conditions
