Job Description
Job Title: Social Media Manager — Food & Grocery Delivery

Type: Full-Time Salary: 200 - 250k /monthly
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and culturally aware Social Media Manager to own and grow our brand presence across all social platforms. You will be the voice of our brand — turning cravings into clicks, and customer stories into community. This role sits at the intersection of content creation, customer engagement, and growth marketing for a fast-paced food and grocery delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and WhatsApp, aligned to campaigns, promotions, and seasonal events.
- Produce or oversee high-quality food photography, short-form videos, Reels, and Stories that showcase our restaurant partners, grocery offers, and delivery experience.
- Write compelling captions, CTAs, and copy that reflect the brand's tone — fun, reliable, and local.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, comments, DMs, and reviews within set response time KPIs.
- Identify, onboard, and manage micro and macro food influencers and content creators for brand partnerships and paid campaigns.
- Track and report on key metrics — reach, engagement rate, follower growth, click-throughs, and conversion — with monthly performance reports.
- Stay ahead of food, grocery, and delivery trends to create timely, relevant, and viral-worthy content.
- Collaborate with the growth, CRM, and design teams to align social campaigns with app promotions, new market launches, and customer acquisition goals.
- Manage paid social campaigns (boosted posts, Meta Ads) in coordination with the performance marketing team.
- Handle social media crisis situations — delivery complaints, PR issues, negative trends — with professionalism and speed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, preferably in food, FMCG, e-commerce, or a tech startup.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, but demonstrated hands-on experience with specific platforms and content creation tools is equally valued.
- Strong visual storytelling ability — you can make a bag of groceries look irresistible.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics etc.
- AI fluency is a requirement for sustainable high performance — comfort using AI tools to assist with content ideation, copywriting, and scheduling.
- Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
