Social Media Manager
Best Regards makes upcycled destination clothing and locally made contemporary clothing. We're hiring a content creator to handle our content end-to-end: photography, and short-form video across Instagram and TikTok.
This is a content creation role - you will create the content, and write the copy according to our social media / marketing brand growth and image goals. We will handle the posting and managing comments, etc for now. We will meet semi-regularly to dicsuss what worked, didn't work, improvements, direction, and more.
We are looking for someone who loves building brands through social media and can use existing assets, as well as film + shoot + edit new assets into engaging content.
What You'll Do
- Shoot product photography and short-form video (Reels, TikToks) at our downtown LA studio and at photoshoots / in person events.
- Edit and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Plan and execute a content calendar aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and trends.
- Track what's working and adjust. We want growth, not busywork.
- Coordinate with food creators and micro-influencers for collaborations and gifting.
Who We're Looking For
- 2+ years creating FASHION/ Giftable STORYTELLING content for small brands — we are not looking for a generic large brand approach - our product has a more small town, individual story to tell.
- A portfolio with fashion / giftable goods photo / video
- Demonstrated ability to grow a social account. It may be your personal account, or a business you've worked with.
- Comfortable with short-form video: shooting it, editing it, understanding what works on Reels and TikTok specifically. Extra points for talking on camera!
- Your own camera gear. We can provide styling props and kitchen access. We have some camera gear that can be used, if you have experience handling Fuji / related DSLRs.
- Based in LA and willing to come to our DTLA studio a few times per month when needed.
Rate & Structure
- $25–$35/hour depending on experience, starting part-time, between ~8-20 hours per week.
