Social Media Manager Paid Summer Internship

Your Role:

As our first Social Media Manager, you’ll help launch kam kam café by creating buzz around the opening and setting the tone for the brand’s online presence. We’re looking for a creative and curious human to tell our brand story and build a community through in-person events, pop-ups, visual story-telling, and showing our human side. You won’t be stuck in a cubicle. You’ll be hanging out in the cafe, attending events, talking to staff, filming latte art fails, and capturing the little moments that make our place feel like home.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Taking photos and short videos of the team, customers, and daily life at the cafe
• Creating and posting content on Instagram
• Brainstorming fun, low-pressure content ideas (think: "Day in the life of a barista" or "Our dishwasher is the real MVP")
• Replying to DMs and comments in a friendly, human way

You're probably a good fit if:

• You're always the one taking pics or making Reels for fun
• You get what makes a moment feel real vs. staged
• You're not afraid to ask a coworker if you can film them wiping a counter
• You work well with others and actually like feedback
