Social Media Manager / Strategist — B2B Lead Generation (Remote, Contract)
Are you a social media professional who measures success in leads and conversions — not just likes and followers? The GTC Group is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager or Strategist for a short-term contract to transform our social media into a lead generation engine.

THE ROLE
We are hiring a Social Media Manager or Strategist on a short-term contract of 1 to 2 months to take full ownership of our social media platforms and deliver measurable lead generation results.
This is not a content creation role. This is a results role. Every post, every campaign, and every piece of content must work towards one goal — generating qualified leads and converting followers into enquiries and course registrations.
At the end of the contract, you will hand over a complete set of branded templates, a content strategy, and a lead generation framework so our internal team can continue independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Lead Generation
- Audit our current social media presence and identify lead generation opportunities
- Develop a results-focused content strategy with lead generation at its core
- Recommend and implement the right mix of organic and paid tactics to drive qualified leads
- Set up tracking — UTM links, conversion events, and source attribution
- Define KPIs and report on performance weekly
Content Creation
- Create high-quality, on-brand content across all platforms
- Formats include: AI avatar video scripts, static graphics, carousels, short-form video, and written captions
- All content must be appropriate for a senior executive and public sector audience
Scheduling & Posting
- Schedule and publish content across all platforms
- Manage a structured weekly content calendar
Engagement
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions professionally
- Actively engage with target audience profiles to build visibility
- Flag high-value leads and enquiries to the GTC team immediately
Handover (End of Contract)
- Deliver a full set of branded, editable social media templates
- Deliver a content calendar template
- Deliver a social media and lead generation playbook
- Conduct a handover video call with the internal team
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Proven experience in B2B social media management with a focus on lead generation
- Strong portfolio showing campaigns that drove leads and conversions — not just engagement
- Experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube for corporate or professional services brands
- Ability to create content across multiple formats including graphics, video scripts, and captions
- Strong understanding of social media analytics, UTM tracking, and conversion optimisation
- Excellent communication and reliable delivery
Highly Desirable:
- Experience working with training, education, professional services, or public sector organisations
- Knowledge of AI video tools such as HeyGen or Synthesia
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with international or multi-region brands

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
By the end of this contract:
- Social media is consistently generating qualified leads every month
- We know exactly which platform and content type is driving those leads
- Our internal team has the tools, templates, and knowledge to continue independently
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Contract length: 1 to 2 months
- Location: Fully remote
- Start date: Immediate / as soon as the right candidate is confirmed
- Rate: Competitive — open to proposals
