Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation’s online presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and fostering positive public relations. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly to foster community interaction.
- Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and optimise future content strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach efforts.
- Manage online reputation by addressing public relations issues swiftly and professionally.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in social media management and digital marketing to keep our organisation at the forefront of industry developments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyse data insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Organised with excellent time-management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
- Prior experience in developing organisational branding or community engagement initiatives is desirable. This position provides an excellent platform for a motivated individual eager to shape our organisation’s digital voice while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per week
