Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and growing the company’s social media presence across different digital platforms. The role involves creating engaging content, monitoring online interactions, implementing marketing campaigns, and increasing brand awareness to support the company’s business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others
• Manage daily social media activities including posting, responding to messages, and monitoring engagement
• Create marketing strategies and campaigns to increase followers, reach, and customer engagement
• Coordinate with different departments for promotional materials and company announcements
• Monitor social media trends, competitors, and audience preferences
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports on social media growth and campaign effectiveness
• Assist in photo/video shoots and basic editing for digital content
• Ensure all content aligns with the company’s branding and marketing goals
• Handle online inquiries and maintain positive customer interaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, or related field
• With proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Knowledgeable in social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation
• Skilled in photo/video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, or similar applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willing to work onsite and do field coverage when necessary
• Willing to be assigned at San Mateo Rizal

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Facebook Ads and social media analytics
• Basic photography and videography skills
• Experience in handling business or corporate social media accounts
