Do you love creating content, telling stories through photos and video, and capturing unforgettable moments? Cub Scout Adventure Camp is looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Specialist to help showcase the excitement of camp all summer long!

About Cub Scout Adventure Camp

Located at the beautiful J. Warren Cutler Scout Reservation in Naples, NY, Cub Scout Adventure Camp welcomes over 1,000 campers and visitors each summer for adventure, learning, and fun. Our camp features themed villages, aquatics, shooting sports, nature programs, crafts, and much more.

Responsibilities

As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for documenting and promoting the camp experience through engaging content, including:

• Taking high-quality photos of camp activities, programs, and special events
• Recording video clips and interviews throughout camp
• Creating short-form content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Assisting with daily social media posts and stories
• Producing end-of-week recap videos and highlight reels
• Capturing staff and camper experiences while following all Scouting America youth protection guidelines
• Organizing and managing digital media files
• Working closely with camp leadership to highlight key programs, special events, and camp traditions
• Supporting marketing and recruitment efforts through creative storytelling

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Experience with photography, videography, social media, or content creation preferred
• Comfortable using smartphones, cameras, and basic editing software
• Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
• Ability to spend long periods outdoors in a camp environment
• Passion for Scouting and youth programs is a plus
