Sports Content Writer

We are seeking a Junior SEO Content Writer. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing content across our sports betting and online casino brands. In this role, you'll work on revamping existing landing pages and creating engaging blog content that drives organic traffic through search engine optimization best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Optimization: Write and optimize blog posts, guides, and preview content for sports betting and online casino verticals, applying on-page SEO principles from provided SEO briefs and content guidelines.
• Landing Page Revamping: Refresh and improve existing landing page content to enhance user engagement and search visibility, working from provided SEO briefs and content guidelines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all content meets our editorial standards, brand guidelines, and SEO requirements before publication.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the SEO Manager for strategy and optimization guidance. Support the Social Media team with content adaptation as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in SEO content creation online gaming industry knowledge.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental on-page SEO concepts including.
• Google Workspace: Competency with Google Docs and Google Drive for collaborative content creation and documentation.
• Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience across multiple sports betting verticals (football, basketball, tennis, esports, etc.) and/or online casino content.
• Strong Writing Skills: Ability to create engaging, informative content that appeals to both readers and search engines.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to content quality, consistency, and SEO best practices.
• Communication: Clear written communication and ability to work effectively with team feedback and guidance.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• WordPress Proficiency
• Familiarity with Sanity CMS
• Basic understanding of GA4 for tracking content performance
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php45,000.00 per month
