Sustainability & Energy Coordinator
Angus Dundee Distillers has an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability & Energy Coordinator to join us at our Production site in Coatbridge.
Our company supplies high quality bottled product worldwide. We are a long established business that has grown steadily over many decades. We have a manufacturing facility which meets the on-going and increasing demand from our customers.
This role is ideal for someone with early‑career experience in sustainability or energy management who is ready to take ownership of key operational processes across multiple sites. You will work independently day‑to‑day while supporting senior management with accurate data, reporting, and compliance activities.

What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role will have;
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related field
- Experience working with sustainability or energy data (1–2 years desirable)
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with site teams and suppliers
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
What you will be doing:
- Completing monthly meter readings and utility bill validation across all operational sites
- Managing the internal processes for SECR and ESOS compliance, including data collection, evidence packs, and liaison with external assessors (director sign‑off retained)
- Maintaining accurate, audit‑ready sustainability and energy datasets
- Producing clear draft reports, dashboards, and analysis for senior review
- Supporting energy procurement activities, including supplier engagement and quote comparisons
- Coordinating operational sustainability initiatives and providing reliable support to site teams
Success Criteria:
- Accurate, on‑time delivery of monthly energy data and bill checks
- SECR and ESOS submissions prepared ahead of deadlines with complete, validated data
- High‑quality reporting outputs requiring minimal correction
- Independent delivery of operational tasks with positive feedback from stakeholders
- Proactive identification of trends, risks, and efficiency opportunities that support the company’s wider sustainability goals.
