Trade Marketing Specialist

Job Summary
The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing programs that drive product visibility, sales growth, and brand presence across retail and distribution channels. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, and key customers to implement promotional activities, monitor market trends, and ensure effective execution of trade initiatives that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and programs to support sales targets and brand objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store promotions, product launches, merchandising activities, and trade campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop channel-specific marketing initiatives and promotional plans.
- Manage point-of-sale materials (POSM) and ensure proper deployment across assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular market visits to evaluate product availability, pricing, visibility, and promotional compliance.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and prepare post-promotion analysis reports.
- Assist in managing trade marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key business partners.
- Prepare sales and marketing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
- Support demand planning and inventory management by coordinating with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand guidelines, and trade marketing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Brand Marketing, or a related role.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and distribution channels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willing to travel and conduct regular field visits.
- Knowledge of sales data analysis and market research techniques is an advantage.
- Willing to do fieldwork when needed.
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
