Video Editor & Content Creator

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Video Editor & Content Creator who can take complete ownership of Torchit's content production pipeline. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in video editing, content storytelling and social media content creation, with the ability to consistently create engaging short-form content that drives awareness, engagement and brand growth.

The person will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality content, managing content workflows and supporting the organization's digital presence across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties

The role involves:

• Creating 2–3 high-quality reels daily for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
• Editing founder videos, product videos, customer testimonials, event footage and impact stories.
• Transforming raw footage into engaging short-form content with strong storytelling.
• Creating captions, subtitles, motion graphics and visual elements that improve audience engagement.
• Supporting content planning and content calendar execution.
• Repurposing long-form videos into multiple short-form content pieces.
• Staying updated with social media trends and implementing relevant content formats.
• Managing and organizing content assets, footage and editing projects.
• Working closely with the Founder, Marketing and Product teams to execute content strategies.
• Monitoring content performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, content creation or social media content production.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing tools.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn content formats.
• Excellent storytelling, editing and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with startups, founders or personal brands.
• Motion graphics and animation skills.
• Photography and videography experience.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools.
• Experience managing high-volume content production workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
