Visual Content Creator (Video & Photography)
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Visual Content Creator to join our team. You will be responsible for end-to-end photo and video production from conceptualizing ideas and shooting content to editing and publishing polished visuals across social media platforms, YouTube, and corporate channels. If you can handle a camera, edit a video, and retouch a photo with equal confidence, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production
- Develop content concepts, scripts, shot lists, and mood boards aligned with brand guidelines and campaign goals
- Plan shoots including location scouting, props, lighting setup, and equipment preparation
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align visual content with broader strategy
Production (Shooting)
- Shoot high-quality video and photography across formats — short-form Reels/TikToks, long-form YouTube videos, corporate brand films, product photography, and lifestyle shoots
- Set up and manage lighting, audio equipment, and on-screen talent during shoots
- Conduct on-location and studio shoots independently or with a small crew
- Capture both stills and video within the same shoot efficiently
Post-Production (Editing)
- Edit raw footage into compelling, polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Retouch and color-grade photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Add motion graphics, captions, sound design, and visual effects to videos where needed
- Adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5)
- Manage and maintain an organized media asset library
Publishing & Performance
- Upload and optimize videos and images for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the company website
- Write captions, video titles, and descriptions with SEO and platform best practices in mind
- Track content performance metrics and iterate based on insights
Requirements:
Must-Have
- 1 - 2 years of experience in video production, editing, and photography
- Proficiency in at least one professional editing tool (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop for photo editing and retouching
- Hands-on experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras across both video and photo modes
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling for both mediums
- A portfolio or showreel that includes both video and photography work
Good to Have
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics
- Knowledge of studio lighting setups (strobes, softboxes, continuous lights)
- Familiarity with content planning tools (Notion, Trello, or similar)
- Experience shooting product photography or corporate portraits
Skills & Traits
- Strong visual storytelling instinct across both photo and video
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverable formats simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for composition, color, and aesthetics
- Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly
- Comfortable both behind the camera and in post-production
